On rotationGraphics: Perspective Drawing   
Students will learn perspective drawing techniques. Students will learn how to draw using one point perspective. Students will be able to recognise pictures taken in one point perspective. Students will learn to add detail to their work using perspective. Pupils will learn the difference between one and 2 point perspective, and will be introduced to two point perspective.
Assessment: Students designs from their books will be assesses along with their 2d Design technical drawings. Students ability to take into account the specification when designing using 2d Design and the Laser cutter (CAD/CAM).Key Words and Terms
 
On rotationTextiles   
Students will learn about bonded materials - felt. Students will learn how to use sewing machines and hand sew. Students will use felt and ribbon to create a bookmark. Students learn about Natural and Synthetic fabrics as well as how they are made.
Assessment: Making task: Students will be assessed on the quality of their machine stitch, hand stitch and ability to set up and use the sewing machine. A single lesson assessment will take place to assess their ability at completing a range of stitches. Final outcome - felt bookmark.Key Words and Terms
 
On rotationElectronics   
Students will learn to solder and the function of different electronic components and their circuit diagrams. The students will use these skills to make an LED torch. They will also test their product and make it suitable for their chosen target market.
Assessment: Students will be assessed on their dice flow chart and how effective their electrical dice is including the quality of soldering.Key Words and Terms
 
On rotationFood & Nutrition   
Students will learn about Food Safety and Hygiene and how to eat a healthy and balanced diet.
Assessment: Students will complete practical tasks and learn about heat transfer. They will make a variety of different foods using the different parts of the oven safely and correctly. They will use the grill, hob and main oven as well as learning important knife skills. They will be assessed on key information about food safety and hygiene as well as their practical skills observed during food practical lessons. Students will also complete a scone modification task where they will modify an existing recipe.Key Words and Terms

Students will learn about different types of timber both natural and manufactured boards. Students will construct a block bot to meet their design.
Assessment: Practical work will be assessed as well as their ability using tools an equipment correctly and safely.Key Words and Terms
