With regret, we are not accepting applications for September 2026 entry, given the governing body's decision to move to close the Sixth Form with effect from summer 2027. Applications for entry in the current Year 12 cohort (September 2025 entry) will still be considered. 

Our Sixth Form has the following minimum entry criteria:

• Five GCSE grades 5 – 9 (including English & Maths) for all A level courses.  Some A level courses may have specific entry requirements depending on the subject – please see the Course List further information.

All King's School Year 11 students who meet these criteria may continue into the Sixth Form if they wish to.  There are also a minimum of 50 places available to external applicants. If these are oversubscribed, then we will prioritise enrolment using the over-subscription criteria set out in our Sixth Form Admissions Policy.
