Frequently asked questions
Which exam boards do you follow?
You can view a list of all the exam board that
the school follows by clicking here.
What revision guides should I consider?
Please click here to be redirected to our revision information page.
Can my
child sit a GCSE in their home language if this isn't taught at
King's?
We are always happy to consider facilitating GCSE exams in
students' home languages but there will be a fee if your child takes an exam that we don't normally
offer. Whether or not we can offer a subject will depend on if we can find an appropriate person to help with
the speaking element of the exam. Please contact Mrs Lancaster via exams@kingsschoolhove.org.uk if you would like to find out
more.
Do you accept entries from external candidates?
For the 2022/23 academic year we are not
accepting external candidates. We will review this decision for future academic years in due course.
Whether we can accept external candidates will depend on the qualification that a candidate is looking for and the impact their entry would have on the wider exam series. There is a fee for external candidates, linked to the costs incurred by the school in entering the student. Please contact Mrs Lancaster via exams@kingsschoolhove.org.uk if you would like to find out more.
