- Tutor Support
All Sixth Form students will have a tutor who will co-ordinate the tutor programme. This will cover:
- Statutory PHSE which is will equip students for the skills they need on their journey into adulthood and into the next stage of the careers
- - UCAS applications and careers advice
- - Mentoring of each student
Academic Support
In addition to the tutor support for UCAS applications, we will be running a programme for students who are aiming for Oxford, Cambridge and other Russell Group Universities.
We have established links with St John's College, Oxford and Churchill College, Cambridge to support visits and applications to Oxford and Cambridge.
Pastoral Support
At King's we provide outstanding pastoral care for our students. Sixth Formers will have the same access to this exceptional care. Because we are a smaller Sixth Form, each student will be known, cared for, valued and supported throughout their time with us.
Careers Support
We have specialist careers advisors who will meet with Sixth Form students to discuss future career plans and options. We also use the Unifrog platform which provides excellent guidance for students thinking about careers and higher study.
Spiritual Support
In keeping with our Christian ethos and values, students will have the opportunity to foster and develop their own spiritual life.
