In this unit, pupils learn to pronounce certain French sounds and use the alphabet. They practise introducing themselves and others, talking about siblings and using the verb avoir (to have). As well as this, they start to describe their classroom and express likes and dislikes, The unit culminates in describing themselved and others, making sure adjectives agree and saying what they do,
Students will be tested on vocabulary and simple grammar related to the unit and will then have a reading assessment at the end of the module.

In this unit, pupils learn to talk about what sports they play using the verbs jouer (to play) and faire (to do/make), express opinions on these and say what else they like to do in their free time.
